Customer story: a connected off-road diesel (GNR) tank sensor, “simple and cheap”

Paul Gaffet farms in the Somme. He was looking for a way to know the level of his diesel tank without going out to check it, so he could plan his fuel orders better. He fitted his tank with a FURGO tank fill-level sensor and shared his experience with us.

The need: planning diesel orders ahead

“I needed to know the level of my diesel tank remotely so I could plan my orders better. The solution meets that need, plain and simple.”

It is a classic situation on a farm: employees forget to mention that the tank is empty, the gauge is broken or hard to read. The sensor plays the role of watchman: it alerts you when the level drops below 18%. And it is not limited to diesel: it also works with AdBlue, grease and even feed.

“We took the sensor out of the box, switched it on, and it worked straight away. No complicated configuration needed. The unit runs on a battery and can be placed wherever you want, with no power socket.”
