An electric fence going down is rarely spectacular: a branch, tall grass, a flat battery. At best you notice on the next day’s round, at worst when the animals are on the road. The FURGO sensor measures the voltage continuously and sends an SMS as soon as it falls below the threshold.
The product is part of the Vigiferm project, our R&D programme on farm security (fences, intrusion, equipment). The prototypes work and are looking for their first trial farms: put yours forward.

When will it be available?
The sensor is in advanced R&D as part of the Vigiferm project, with working prototypes. It will be available very soon — and it is already ready for real-world testing with volunteer livestock farmers.
How can I take part in the tests?
Write to us describing your set-up (fence length, energiser, mobile coverage). Testers are supported directly by the workshop and keep the equipment on preferential terms.
