Pre-assembled Débitdouille — sprayer flow and pressure
A blocked nozzle or an unbalanced boom is rarely visible from the cab. The Débitdouille displays pressure, flow and speed live on your smartphone during spraying.
What it solves
- Detect a blocked nozzle or an imbalance between left and right sections during spraying
- Check that the dose actually applied matches the planned dose (pressure, flow, GPS speed)
- Reduce input waste and keep a record of the settings of every pass
Included in the price
- ✓ Electronic unit assembled and configured
- ✓ Pressure sensor
- ✓ 2 SIKA flow meters (left and right sections)
- ✓ GPS sensor
- ✓ Wiring and connectors
- ✓ Mobilab mobile app (.apk)
Technical specifications
- Monitored parameters circuit pressure, left/right flow, forward speed
- Flow meters 2 × SIKA electromagnetic VMZ 025 (5 L/min, 10 bar)
- Speed measured by the included GPS sensor
- Display real time on smartphone, Mobilab app (Android .apk)
- Assembly delivered pre-assembled, ready to fit
- Installation carried out by FURGO: fitting, sensor calibration, start-up
- Origin developed with the AgroTIC Mobilab and the CA34 (Occitanum project)
- Subscription none
The Débitdouille was born in the field, at the AgroTIC Mobilab with the Hérault chamber of agriculture (CA34), as part of the Occitanum project. The idea: give the driver what the sprayer does not show — the actual circuit pressure, the flow of each boom section and the forward speed measured by GPS.
What it does in the plot
During spraying, the app displays the values live on your smartphone. If a nozzle blocks, the flow of that section drops and you see it immediately — not back at the farm, nor on the product invoice. By cross-checking flow, pressure and speed, you also know whether the applied dose matches the planned one, and you correct it before spraying ten rows wrong.
Pre-assembled, installed, up and running
The unit arrives assembled and configured, with its two SIKA flow meters, the pressure sensor and the GPS. We install the whole system on your sprayer, calibrate the sensors and stay at your side for the first use. Those who want to understand the mechanics can take the self-build training of the Hérault chamber; the others plug in and spray.
The return on investment, in practice
At €220 excl. VAT, the Débitdouille pays for itself through what it prevents rather than what it does:
- A blocked nozzle detected live means one less row to re-spray and an even application — local under-dosing costs you in treatment efficacy.
- A pressure drift corrected means active ingredient saved on every pass: a few percent of dose deviation over a season quickly exceeds the price of the kit.
- Logged passes mean a clean history on sprayer inspection day.
No subscription, really
No SIM card here, no remote server: the data goes from the unit to your phone. Once the kit is paid for and fitted, there is nothing more to pay each month.
An open project
The design is public: the project is documented on the AgroTIC Mobilab website, self-build tutorial included. The full story of its industrialisation is told in our project stories.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need electronics skills to install it?
No. This version arrives pre-assembled and configured. We take care of the installation on your sprayer: sensor calibration, connection checks and assistance for the first use.
How is it different from the self-build kit?
The same system exists as separate parts, to assemble yourself as part of the training run by the Hérault chamber of agriculture. The pre-assembled version is the shortcut: you get the benefit of the system without the technical work, and the self-build tutorial remains available.
Where is the data displayed during spraying?
On your smartphone, through the Mobilab mobile app supplied as an .apk (Android). You keep an eye on pressure, left/right flow and forward speed from the cab.
Is there a subscription or any recurring cost?
No. The unit, the sensors and the app are yours. There is no SIM card to top up and no paid platform: the data is displayed directly on your phone.
