Technical specifications

The Météo-France forecast point adds the “tomorrow” dimension to your Supervisor dashboard. Your FURGO sensors tell you what is happening right now on the plot; this point tells you what is coming over the next 5 days — temperature, humidity, rainfall — with a frost-risk indicator already calculated for you.

What it does in the field

A frost alarm at 3 a.m. is good; knowing three days ahead that a cold night is on its way is better. You check the sprinkler protection, get the frost candles ready, organise the team — instead of improvising everything. And since you place the point wherever you want on the map, the forecast matches your hillside or your valley floor, not the station in the nearby town. You can move it afterwards, as many times as needed.

How it works

The system queries the official Météo-France API four times a day and pushes the data to your Supervisor account, next to your sensor readings. There is nothing to set up in the field: no box, no battery to watch, no SIM card to top up. You buy the point once, at the displayed price, and check the forecasts from any browser — that is all. True to the FURGO approach: a simple tool, with no subscription rent.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to install a device on the plot?

No. It is a forecast point, not a sensor: no hardware, no battery, no SIM card. The data arrives straight on your online dashboard.

Can the point be moved after purchase?

Yes. You place the point on the map of your farm and can adjust its position whenever you want, for example if your sensitive plot changes.

How often are the forecasts refreshed?

Four times a day. The system queries the Météo-France API and automatically updates the data on your Supervisor account.

What is the difference with a frost alarm sensor?

The forecast point announces what is coming (5 days); the sensor measures what is actually happening on the ground and calls you when the threshold is crossed. The two work together: the forecast to plan, the sensor to trigger.
