SoilWatch: a white-label probe monitoring app for OMAG
The need
OMAG distributes capacitive soil-moisture probes. Its farming customers needed a simple way to check their readings on a phone, without going through a third-party platform unrelated to their supplier. OMAG also wanted a tool in its own colours: its customers know OMAG, not the sensor manufacturer.
The solution: SoilWatch
FURGO developed SoilWatch, a white-label mobile application. The OMAG customer opens the app, sees their plots and probes, and reads soil moisture depth by depth. No superfluous menus: the screen shows what is needed to decide on irrigation, nothing else. The app carries OMAG’s name and identity; FURGO stays invisible to the end user.
What this project shows
The FURGO design office does not only build sensors. It delivers the full chain: the capacitive probe, the data transmission and the software that makes the data readable — the same logic as the Supervisor delivered with our own sensors. For a distributor, that means offering a branded product without setting up a development team. The same approach applies to other sensors and other lines of business: if you distribute connected farm equipment, the app can follow.
