HSTI multi-depth capacitive probe
The “orange cap” probe: from 20 cm to 1.20 m long and from 2 to 8 measurement depths, to read the full water profile of your soil.
Trunk growth measured continuously: water stress as seen by the plant itself, not just by the soil.
The dendrometer measures the tiny variations in trunk diameter: shrinking by day, swelling back at night. When the daily shrinkage deepens and the trunk no longer recovers overnight, the plant is short of water — the most direct water-stress indicator there is, complementary to soil probes.
The product is developed as open source within the OSFARM collective and is coming to the catalogue soon. Interested for your plots or your trials? Let us know — the first deployments are carried out with pilot users.
