HSTI multi-depth capacitive probe

The “orange cap” probe: from 20 cm to 1.20 m long and from 2 to 8 measurement depths, to read the full water profile of your soil.

713,90  excl. VAT — depending on length and depths No subscription

What it solves

  • Track the wetting front: see how deep the water from a watering round or a rainfall actually goes
  • Match irrigation dose and frequency to the real rooting depth of the crop
  • Get a voice call when the soil water reserve crosses your threshold

User manual (PDF) All documentation

Included in the price

  • HSTI capacitive probe, length and depths to your configuration
  • Self-contained transmission, SIM included — no gateway
  • Access to the Supervisor platform included
  • Alerts by voice call, SMS and email

Technical specifications

The HSTI multi-depth probe — recognisable by its orange cap — is the tool for fine-tuned irrigation management: instead of one figure at one depth, it gives you the complete profile of your soil, depth by depth.

Read the profile, not a single point

An effective watering round means water that reaches the roots — neither above (evaporated) nor below (drained). With several measurement depths, you watch the wetting front go down in real time: you know whether your 3 hours of irrigation wet 20 cm or 60 cm, and you adjust the run time accordingly. It is the difference between irrigating by habit and irrigating by measurement.

The HSTI technology

The probes are made by HSTI, a French specialist in capacitive measurement, and integrated by FURGO: self-contained transmission, SIM included, voice alerts and platform included. The hardware is repairable and the data belongs to you — exportable at any time from the Supervisor.

Frequently asked questions

Which configuration should I choose for my crop?

The basic rule: cover the rooting depth plus one depth below it to see the drainage. Established vineyard: 60 cm / 3 depths is the most common choice; market gardening: 40 cm / 2 depths; fruit growing or deep soils: 60 cm and more. If in doubt, describe your plot and we will give you a straight answer.

What is the difference with the single-depth probe?

The single-depth probe measures at one depth only: perfect for triggering a simple alert. The multi-depth probe reads the whole profile: it shows where the water goes, which changes the way you manage your watering rounds.

What does the price depend on?

On the length of the probe and the number of depths: from €713.90 excl. VAT (40 cm, 2 depths) to €993.40 excl. VAT (60 cm, 4 depths). Everything is included, with no subscription — the full table is below.
