A weather station whose subscription ends becomes a decorative pole — even though the mast, the rain gauge and the sensors are still perfectly good. The FURGO retrofit replaces only the transmission electronics: your readings come back on the Supervisor, with no subscription, and with voice alerts thrown in.
Let us be clear about what it does and does not do: you get the measurements back (temperature, humidity, rainfall, wind) and the threshold alerts; you do not get the original vendor’s proprietary agronomic models back. For many farms, that is exactly the trade-off they are looking for.
Frequently asked questions
What do I lose compared with the original service?
The vendor’s decision-support tools (disease models) are not carried over: the retrofit restores access to the raw measurements — temperature, humidity, rain, wind — with the Supervisor’s curves, thresholds and alerts. If your main use was checking readings and receiving alerts, you lose nothing.
My station is another brand — is that possible?
Often, yes: the principle is the same as long as the physical sensors are in good condition. Send us the model and a photo, and we will give you a straight answer.
